I'd like to write/organize an article about the mission and purpose of the PTOs compared to actual expenditures. i.e. We should be funding Docent Art, we should not be funding security systems. Once the PTOs have gathered this information I'd be happy to write the article.
I'd like to know how Scituate compares to our neighboring towns with regards to the cost per student ratio. What do Cohasset, Hingham, Marshfield and Norwell pay?

Duxbury - $7,904
Hingham -$6,937
Marshfield- $7,125
Norwell - $7,422
Scituate - $6,561

Notice how Hingham and Scituate Schools are still considered "better" then Marshfield, even though they spend less money Per Pupil. Look at Catholic Schools, they also spend the least amount money and are sometimes better. "Per Pupil Expenditures" also measure inefficiency.
